ES Live Club brings to you Pickle Factory season 2, a selection of brilliant cultural performances and a series of workshops combining dance, music and theatre, wherein the audience can learn and enjoy at the same time from 1st to 24th November, 2019. Some of the choicest performances of the evening are:

  • ‘Immersed’, a solo Kathak performance by Aditi Mangaldas interpreting the ideas of Krishna, on 1st November, 6.45 pm at GD Birla Sabhaghar.
  • ‘Loose Woman’ by Maya Krishna Rao, that depicts the portrayal of women through and across media, on 6th November, 6.45 pm at Gem Cinema.
  • A choreography called ‘Today’ by the duo Laurence Yadi and Nicolas Cantillon that unites a performer and the art in one body, on 8th and 9th November, 6.45 pm at Gem Cinema.
  • ‘SKUM Manifesto’ by Urvi Vora, a satirical contemporary-dance-cum-stand-up comedy that questions the directives of Kamasutra through the eye of a feminist, on 13th and 14th November, 6.45 pm at Padatik Theatre.
  • ‘Cat’s Cradle’ a performance by Vaishnavi Mannava in which she and her partner combine dance with the well-known game using body and rope, on 14th November, 6.45 pm at Padatik Theatre.
  • ‘Underground’, a stunning and poetic circus theatre piece inspired by Fyodor Dostoyevsky’s ‘Notes From The Under Ground’ on 21st and 22nd November, 6.45 pm at Satyajit Ray film and television institute.
  • ‘About Ram’, a puppet show by Anurupa Roy depicting the Bunraku puppet technique, animation, projection and movements on 23rd and 24th November, 6.45 pm at Kolkata Centre for Creativity.

This programme is supported by ES Live Club and is exclusively free for club members! Passes are available at the ES Live office on first-come, first-served basis.

ES Live members can collect their free passes on a first come first served basis from Ei Samay office from 1st to 20th November’19 between 2- 5 pm.
